MedVoyage Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of medical tourism packages through MedVoyage (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing a package, you (“the Client,” “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Scope of Services

MedVoyage facilitates medical travel by providing logistical and non-medical support, including but not limited to:

  • Travel arrangements (flights, transfers, accommodation)
  • Appointment scheduling with healthcare providers
  • Interpretation and translation services
  • Concierge services

MedVoyage does not provide medical services and is not responsible for any medical treatment or procedures performed.

Payment & Pricing

  • Prices for packages cover only the services explicitly listed.
  • Medical procedures, hospital fees, additional consultations, extended stays, or unforeseen medical costs are not included and must be paid separately by the Client directly to the medical provider.
  • Any additional expenses incurred due to unforeseen complications, extended recovery, or additional medical care will be billed separately.
  • Full payment for the package is required before services are rendered.

Medical Treatment & Liability

  • MedVoyage is not a healthcare provider and does not influence medical decisions or treatment plans.
  • The selection of a medical provider is solely the Client’s responsibility. While MedVoyage facilitates the connection between Clients and providers, we do not guarantee treatment outcomes or medical results.
  • Any dissatisfaction with medical treatment must be addressed directly with the healthcare provider. MedVoyage bears no liability for medical negligence, complications, or unsatisfactory results.
  • The Client understands that all medical procedures carry inherent risks, and MedVoyage is not responsible for any complications, adverse reactions, or unforeseen medical conditions arising from the treatment.

Travel & Accommodation

  • Travel and accommodation arrangements are made based on availability at the time of booking. Any changes in pricing, cancellations, or modifications from third-party service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels) are subject to their terms and conditions.
  • MedVoyage is not responsible for any travel disruptions, including but not limited to flight delays, cancellations, visa issues, or unforeseen accommodation changes.
  • The Client is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and medical insurance.

Insurance & Liability Waiver

  • MedVoyage strongly recommends that all Clients obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering potential complications, additional treatment, extended stays, and emergency medical evacuation.
  • The Client acknowledges that they are voluntarily engaging in medical tourism and assumes all associated risks.
  • MedVoyage, its affiliates, employees, or representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, complication, loss, damage, or expenses arising from the Client’s travel, medical treatment, or any other related services.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation policies vary depending on service providers (hotels, airlines, medical institutions). MedVoyage will assist in obtaining applicable refunds but does not guarantee reimbursement.
  • If a medical provider cancels or reschedules a procedure, MedVoyage will assist in rescheduling but is not responsible for additional costs incurred by the Client.

Client Responsibilities

By purchasing a package, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete personal and medical information.
  • Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment medical advice given by healthcare providers.
  • Adhere to the laws and regulations of the country they are traveling to for treatment.
  • Accept financial responsibility for any additional medical or travel expenses beyond the package inclusions.

Data Protection & Privacy

MedVoyage respects client privacy and complies with data protection regulations.

  • Personal information will only be shared with relevant service providers for the purpose of coordinating medical travel.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

– These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].
